Contribution rules
- I am a U.S. citizen or lawfully admitted permanent resident (i.e., green card holder).
- I am at least eighteen years old.
- This contribution is made from my own funds, and funds are not being provided to me by another person or entity for the purpose of making this contribution.
Contributions are not tax-deductible for income tax purposes. Contributions from
foreign nationals not admitted for permanent residence (green card holders) are prohibited. Contributions from individuals, businesses, and committees are limited. As of the 2020 ordinance, the limit for contributions to candidates for Fresno County elective offices from any person or entity is $30,000 per election. Please check FPPC for guidelines.
