My name is Latoya LeGrand. I am a mother, an advocate, and your neighbor right here in Southeast Queens, endorsed by the Working Families Party (WFP).
For more than 15 years, I have proudly served the 32nd Assembly District, holding multiple leadership roles, including Chair of the Education Committee for Queens Community Board 12 and as the founder and leader of the nonprofit Projects II Projects. Projects II Projects is committed to empowering youth, strengthening families, and building healthier communities in Southeast Queens by transforming local challenges into meaningful action. Through education, mentorship, leadership development, and community-based programming, we create pathways for opportunity, equity, and long-term success.
I am running for New York State Assembly District 32 because I am a voice for our families, our schools, and our neighborhoods. Serving as your next State Legislator means changing lives by turning policy and fiscal investment into real, measurable community impact.
I believe our seniors should be safe in their homes and protected from predatory lending and deed theft. I believe our children should be safe on our streets and receive a quality education right here in our neighborhood. I believe families deserve leadership that shows up, listens, and delivers.
Together, we can build a stronger, safer, and brighter future for District 32.
