We need leaders who actually understand day to day life—not career politicians who are out of touch—but teachers, parents, workers, & caregivers.
I am an exceptionally ordinary person. I’m a stay-at-home mom raising my son, and like so many people in our community, my life revolves around my family, my neighbors, and trying to build a better future for our kids.
I’m not a career politician. Over the past few years, like many of us, I’ve been paying closer and closer attention to what’s happening in our communities.
I’m running because I believe the voices of ordinary people matter and we deserve a seat at the table. We deserve leaders who listen first, act second, work across differences, and who remember that public service is actually about serving the public.
